Nate Diaz To Fight Mike Perry On Carano vs. Rousey Undercard

Nate Diaz will return to the cage on May 16 when he faces Mike Perry. The fight will take place on the undercard of Ronda Rousey vs. Gina Carano. The event will stream on Netflix.
Diaz hasn’t fought in an MMA fight since September 2022, when he defeated Tony Ferguson. He’s had two boxing matches since then, losing to Jake Paul, but defeating Jorge Masvidal. Both fights went to a decision.
“Glad to be in action. It’s time,” Diaz said in a statement (via ESPN). “Don’t forget where this all came from. I got plans on doing a lot more in the next 10 years, no matter where it is. Time to set the bar again, so get ready for a new takeover again and again until the end of time.”
Perry hasn’t fought in MMA since April 2021 when he lost to Daniel Rodriguez. He lost four of his last five MMA fights. He has since gone on to Bareknuckle Fighting, where he is 6-0.
“The King of Violence returns to MMA to elbow his opponent in the fucking face,” Perry. “Saturday, May 16th, on Netflix, Nate Diaz is going lights out.”
The fight will be contested under the Unified Rules of MMA inside of a hexagon cage for five 5-minute rounds.
