Bear Bronson Comments On Injury Etiquette In Wrestling, Praises Create-A-Pro’s Standards
Bear Bronson wants better injury ethics in wrestling.
Following the controversial incident involving Dallas Edwards at an OVW event, there has been a ton of conversation surrounding safety in wrestling. Speaking with Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp, Bear Bronson talked about the students of Create-A-Pro and how they will go to the hospital with their peers if an injury occurs.
“Yeah, there’s something in the water over at Create-A-Pro. We are very lucky to, not only the training we’ve had, but being brought up [with] something I actually feel is getting kind of lost nowadays. I try to instill it in our students. If you’re in a match with somebody—even if it’s not your fault, it may not even be your fault—but if they have to go to the hospital or something, you should go. You should go and you should just check up on your [peer].”
Bronson also criticized wrestlers that don’t reach out or make an effort to check on a person that they shared the ring with.
“‘Cause if we’re all in this together, like how I think we are, then you should mean it too. I think it’s just not a cool thing where it’s like we’re putting our bodies on the line out there every single time we go into a ring and if you get hurt and the people in the match just like, ‘Oh, man, I’m sorry that stinks,’ and then you don’t hear from them, that’s a crappy feeling, you know?”
Elsewhere in the interview, Bronson talked about being busy in TNA. Fans can check out his full comments by clicking here.
