Cody Rhodes And Randy Orton Brawl To Close WWE SmackDown, Jelly Roll Gets Hit With An RKO

Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton brawl out to close this week’s WWE SmackDown.
It’s been two weeks since Randy Orton turned against Cody Rhodes on SmackDown and brutally assaulted The American Nightmare. Rhodes missed the next two episodes of SmackDown, but finally returned on tonight’s show (3/27).
After Orton defeated Matt Cardona on SmackDown, Rhodes arrived in his tour bus outside the arena. It took him over three minutes to get to the ring, but Orton waited patiently.

As soon as Rhodes entered the ring, a brawl broke out between the two. Over a dozen security guards surrounded both men, but they weren’t enough to keep them apart. They kept taking turns on offense.

Towards the end, when things had settled down a bit, Jelly Roll came to the ring to play mediator. But his back was turned to The Viper, who quickly took out a few security guards standing near him and then hit Jelly with the RKO. Afterward, Orton left the ring the show went off the air.
Randy Orton and Cody Rhodes are currently scheduled to take on each other in an Undisputed WWE Championship match at WrestleMania 42. For more information about the show’s lineup, click here.
