Cody Rhodes: Pat McAfee Holding The WWE Championship Is The Most Offensive Image In Wrestling History

Cody Rhodes continues to grill Pat McAfee.

Ahead of his match with Randy Orton at WrestleMania 42, Rhodes has had a lot to say about Pat McAfee during his nationwide media tour. Chatting with Rich Eisen, ‘The American Nightmare’ compared the image of McAfee holding the WWE Championship to The Gobbly Gooker and David Arquette in WCW.

“The most offensive image probably in wrestling history — and there’s been a few along the way. This is not a knock on any of these guys, the Gobbly Gooker when they did that. David Arquette winning the world championship always upset fans. I think the most offensive image in wrestling history is probably Pat McAfee holding up the WWE Championship while standing next to Randy Orton, the actual guy that I’m wrestling at WrestleMania. It’s even worse because he’s over there in the Thunderdome and it’s just sitting there.”

In a separate interview, Cody Rhodes recently trashed McAfee and called him a “full-blooded rat”. Check out his full comments by clicking here.
