Cody Rhodes’ Eye Swollen Shut After WrestleMania 42
Cody Rhodes didn’t look like the winner coming out of WrestleMania 42.
In the main event of night one, Cody Rhodes retained the Undisputed WWE Title by defeating Randy Orton. Near the end of the match, Orton caught Cody with an RKO as Cody went for the Cody Cutter. The next time fans saw Cody, he was split open.
It wasn’t enough to deter him as he managed to hit the Cross Rhodes for the victory.
After the match, Orton hit Cody with the title and laid him out with the punt kick.
During the post-show, Cody was being checked by medical staff, and his left eye was completely swollen shut.

Cody’s appearance at WWE World on Sunday was canceled due to injuries suffered in the match. On the post-show, Peter Rosenberg mentioned that Cody would be in concussion protocol.
