Lucha Underground Posts New Teaser In First Post Since 2019

For the first time since 2019, the Lucha Underground account on social media posted a message. The tweet was a teaser video with the word “Mas?” and was captioned “Soon.”

Lucha Underground launched in 2014 and was filmed at Boyle Heights and Downtown Los Angeles, California. The show was developed by Mark Burnett and Robert Rodriguez and produced by United Artists, MGM Television, and One Three Media.

Content was taped in advance and then put together for television. The show received rave reviews from fans for its episodic storylines and production. The likes of Rey Mysterio, Penta, Rey Fenix, Ricochet, Chelsea Green, and more were featured throughout the series.

The series ended after four seasons with the last episode running in November 2018.
