Kairi Sane: I’ve Never Walked Away, And I’ve Given My All In Everything I Do

On Friday, Kairi Sane was part of the handful of WWE departures, and was perhaps the most surprising name on the list as she was involved in an active storyline with IYO SKY and Asuka.

It was said by Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer that Kairi had indicated that she wanted to move back to Japan.

On Tuesday evening, Kairi wrote on social media, “What I can say is I know there’s been a lot of speculation, but I truly love this work, my teammates, and my fans. I’ve never walked away, and I’ve given my all in everything I do. I hope you’re all doing well.”

Kairi Sane was referenced, but not mentioned by name, on Monday’s Raw during a video package to set up Asuka vs. IYO at WWE Backlash. In the video, Asuka mentioned getting rid of a friend so she didn’t turn into another IYO.

The crowd chanted “We Want Kairi” during Raw as Asuka attacked IYO.
