Swerve Strickland Replies ‘Ask The Lawyers’ When Asked Why He’s No Longer Using Big Pressure Theme In AEW
Swerve Strickland gave an answer about the theme change.
Swerve Strickland is making the media rounds, and one of his stops was a chat with Bootleg Kev. As the conversation moved along, Strickland was asked about why he no longer uses the ‘Big Pressure’ theme in All Elite Wrestling.
His response was ‘ask the lawyers.’
“It’s so crazy, yeah. It worked in a great time,” Strickland said about ‘Big Pressure.’ “I got fans that are happy with it (new theme).” Strickland was then asked about the thought process behind changing his popular theme and he said, “I mean, ask the lawyers. Ask the lawyers.” He was asked if he could not use Big Pressure anymore and said, “I decided not to.” That was followed up by asking Strickland if it was a legal matter and he repeated, “Ask the lawyers on that one… It was (a great theme). Got a lot of mileage out of it in the first three years.”
Strickland is set to compete in the men’s Owen Hart Cup tournament. He’ll be facing Bandido in the first round.
