Jon Jones Says He ‘Thinks’ He’s Retired, Responds To Callout By Francis Ngannou

Jon Jones was part of the MVP MMA broadcast team, and he had some things to say after Francis Ngannou called him out.

Ngannou scored a knockout victory over Philipe Lins. After the fight, Ngannou called out Jon Jones, saying that Jones has something to learn about business and that if he does, they can make the fight happen. Ngannou was referencing Jones still being under contract to UFC.

In response to Ngannou, Jones said that he does has to get out of his UFC contract to make a fight with Ngannou happen as he doubts UFC would do business with Ngannou.

Asked if he’s retired, Jones said he “thinks” he is, saying he’s part of other ventures, including training Gable Steveson.

Jones said that he was lowballed as part of the UFC White House negotiations, and asked to be let out of his contract if the UFC felt he was finished as a fighter.
