Tony Khan Says AEW TBS Title Situation Will Be Addressed After AEW Double Or Nothing

Tony Khan provides some clarity on the AEW TBS Title situation.

On Wednesday, Willow Nightingale announced that she was injured and would be unable to compete at AEW Double or Nothing in the Owen Hart Women’s Tournament against Alex Windsor.

She also relinquished the TBS Championship.

On the Double or Nothing media call, Tony Khan told Samantha Schipman of Powerbomb Shells that they expect to address the TBS Title situation coming out of Double or Nothing and will have a wild card entrant in the Owen Hart tournament to replace Willow.

AEW moved Mina Shirakawa vs. Athena to Double or Nothing, taking off the Willow vs. Windsor match. Windsor vs. the wild card opponent will take place at a later date.
