Willow Nightingale Injured; Forced To Vacate TBS Championship, Pulled From Women’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournament

Willow Nightingale is vacating the TBS Championship due to injury.
The announcement was made by Nightingale herself on the May 20 episode of AEW Dynamite. Nightingale revealed that she suffered a shoulder injury in her recent bout with Red Velvet.
Willow Nightingale also noted that she has to forego her spot in the Women’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournament. She was set to face Alex Windsor in a first round matchup at the Double Or Nothing pay-per-view. Windsor will now face a wild card opponent at a later date.
In additional news, the tournament bout between Athena and Mina Shirakawa will now take place at Double Or Nothing.
