Derrick White Talks WWE Raw Appearance, Recalls Joe Mazzulla Joking About Getting In The Ring
Derrick White comments on his WWE Raw appearance.
White, a guard for the Boston Celtics, appeared on the March 23 episode of WWE Raw alongside Joe Mazzulla, the team’s head coach. White and Mazzulla got a bit rowdy when cameras showed them at ringside.
Speaking with Run It Back, White talked about the fun moment with his coach.
“I just started watching it a little bit and I realized they were going to be at the [TD] Garden in town, so I was like, I’m gonna go. Joe’s like, ‘I’m gonna go too.’ It was a fun thing, we’re just kind of chilling. We were in the suite for a while and then he’s like, ‘You’ve never been to one of these before, you’ve got to see it ringside.’ Him and his son and me and my wife went down there and they’re like, ‘Alright, we’re gonna put you on TV.’ He’s like, ‘Alright, we got to do a little something, how’s it going to go?’ That was a lot of fun actually. He was like, ‘Next time we go out there, we’re going to have to get in the ring and actually have a fight or something.’ That was a lot of fun.”
