Shane Haste Explains Why He Returned To Pro Wrestling NOAH

Shane Haste explains why he returned to Pro Wrestling NOAH.
Earlier in April, Shane Haste returned to Pro Wrestling NOAH. It was announced that Haste would be challenging Yoshiki Inamura for the GHC Heavyweight Title at NOAH Spring Mayhem Ryogoku 2026 in May. On the show, Haste became the new GHC Heavyweight Champion.
During a recent interview with Pario Magazine, Haste revealed that he had been wanting to go back to NOAH because he and Mikey Nicholls weren’t being used much in New Japan Pro Wrestling.
“I wanted to go back to NOAH because if we weren’t going to be used in New Japan that much, then hell yeah, man like, let me go back to NOAH. Watching the NOAH shows, the production in it is amazing. The quality is up there with everything, like with any other company. So like, yeah, I want to be there. Like I want that cool entrance there. I want to be wrestling back in that ring. So yeah, I jumped at the bit of them reaching back out to me.”
In another interview, Haste discussed a potential WWE return. Fans can read his full comments by clicking here.
