Fanatics “Flabbergasted” By Value Being Generated By El Grande Americano Mask

The El Grande Americano mask is up for sale.
The mask worn by El Grande Americano (Ludwig Kaiser) during his Mask versus Mask match at AAA Noches de Los Grandes against the Original El Grande Americano (Chad Gable) is being auctioned off by Fanatics.
During the 6/18 WrestleVotes on Fightful Select, a source at Fanatics relayed that the company is “flabbergasted” by the value being generated by the ring-worn El Grande Americano mask. With seven days left in the auction, the bidding has surpassed $40,000.
Sources indicated to WrestleVotes that they projected the item to be sold for $12,000-$15,000. The current figure has been a significant surprise and well beyond initial expectations. As a result, Fanatics is exploring ways to identify and earmark select ring-worn items for auction before matches even take place.
The idea would actively allow the company to promote those pieces of memorabilia during live events, creating additional awareness and potentially driving even greater interest from collectors in real time.
