NXT GM Robert Stone Announces AAA Luchadores Will Be At Great American Bash PLE

Robert Stone makes additions to the Great American Bash PLE.

As the June 23rd episode of WWE NXT on The CW was ongoing, cameras cut backstage to the brand’s General Manager, Robert Stone.

He was on the phone when interviewer/correspondent Sarah Schreiber approached him. Stone wrapped up his phone call and revealed that he was speaking with AAA General Manager Rey Mysterio. Stone shared that luchadores from AAA will be at the Great American Bash PLE on June 28th.

Talents or a match were not officially announced, but when more information is available, we’ll update you here on Fightful.

The current NXT Women’s Champion, Lola Vice, is a regular at AAA. She is also one-half of the AAA World Mixed Tag Team Champions with Mr. Iguana. Vice will be defending the NXT Women’s Title against La Hiedra on the 6/27 AAA on FOX, one day before her scheduled title defense against Kendal Grey at the Great American Bash.
