Myles Borne Def. Tavion Heights To Retain NXT North American Championship At Great American Bash
The Great American Bash PLE saw Myles Borne versus Tavion Heights in a title match.
One of the championship matches on the night for NXT Great American Bash saw former factionmates in No Quarter Catch Crew, Tavion Heights and champion Myles Borne clash over the North American Title.
Borne has been the champion since February, and the match at Great American Bash was his fifth defense.
The conclusion of the match saw Borne counter Heights’ fireman’s carry maneuver into the Borne Again. That secured Borne the win.
Post-match, Borne and Heights shook hands. Borne was then interviewed by correspondent Emily Agard and stated that Heights will win a title one day, but it will not be his title. Borne added that he’s been champion for four months and plans on keeping the belt for a long time.
