Starlight Kid says that AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door was just ‘The Beginning Of The Story’ with AEW Women’s World Champion Thekla.

At the crossover pay-per-view, the STARDOM roster member would face off with AEW Women’s World Champion Thekla in singles action with the title on the line. While Starlight Kid would fight hard to defend STARDOM, Thekla would come away with the victory – and Starlight Kid’s mask – following the bout.

In a new social media post on Monday afternoon, Starlight Kid would react to her loss at the pay-per-view, noting that the bout was ‘the beginning of the story’ between her and Thekla.

“Thank you so much to everyone who believed in me and cheered me on from the other side of the screen at the venue. I came carrying Japan and STARDOM on my back, yet I couldn’t shut up Tekla, and that really stings. But with them even laying hands on the mask, this loss… It’s no longer just a fight with STARDOM! This is the beginning of the story between me and Tekla I absolutely won’t let Tekla get away”
