King Trevor Murdoch Explains Why He Chose The Bulldog As His Finisher

King Trevor Murdoch explains why he chose the bulldog as his finisher.
Former NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion Trevor Murdoch is back in business after revealing that his retirement was a ruse. He now refers to himself as King Trevor Murdoch.
Speaking with Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful for a new interview, Murdoch was asked about his Diving Bulldog finishing move.
“Well, as you can tell by looking at me, I’m not the most prettiest of men. So I have to do things with a little bit of flair and finesse. When you take a 280 pound man and he jumps off the top rope and grabs you by the head to drive you into the ground, you can’t do anything but be impressed with that. Not to mention I can do it to anybody and everybody. That’s the most important thing, the fact that there wasn’t a size, wasn’t a shape that I couldn’t jump off that top rope and hook a head and drive it into the ground. It worked for me and people love it.”
Elsewhere in the interview, Murdoch talked about following in Harley Race’s footsteps in the NWA. Fans can read his full comments here.
