King Trevor Murdoch Believes Carson Drake Could Become A Future NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion
King Trevor Murdoch talks about Carson Drake.
Carson Drake is one of the younger talents in the NWA. He made his pro wrestling debut back in 2021, and is a former NWA WLW Heavyweight Champion as well as an NWA World Television Champion. King Trevor Murdoch, a former two-time NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion, thinks that Drake could be a future world champion as well.
Speaking with Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, Murdoch said the following about Drake.
“Carson Drake is the one that stands out above all. He seems to be firing on all cylinders. He looks the part, he acts the part, he wrestles the part. When I hear him speak, I want to grab him by the throat and shake him violently. That means he invokes an emotional reaction out of me, which means he can make money for the company. The guy that steps into that position, the man that’s carrying the World Heavyweight title, has to draw our house. I believe Carson Drake is the next [big thing]. Just in my personal opinion, given the right opportunity, I think we’ll see gold around his waist.”
