AJ Francis Says Tom Brady Thinks Moose Is ‘Soft’

Tom Brady called Moose soft, says his former NFL teammate AJ Francis.

Brady and Francis were teammates, albeit for a brief period in 2020, on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Francis and Moose have been feuding on TNA programming lately, with them also going one-on-one against each other during the 7/16 iMPACT!. Both wrestlers are former NFL athletes, and their history was mentioned during the rivalry as well.

Speaking with Jeremy Lambert on In the Weeds during the 24-hour charity live stream, Francis discussed Moose and what Tom Brady thinks about him.

“Moose was an offensive lineman, and I was a defensive lineman, and so I tell him all the time, ‘You never would have blocked me.’ He’s always like, ‘I’d have blocked you. I blocked Dwight Freeney.’ I was like, ‘Bro, I ain’t Dwight Freeney, and Dwight Freeney ain’t me, right? You wouldn’t have blocked me. I’d have ran you over, Moose.’ He’s always like, ‘No, AJ, I’m gonna block you, man. I will block you, man. I’m Moose, I will block you, man.’ … I think that more needs to be said about the fact of me and Moose facing each other, coming from the NFL, both super freak athletes. Especially considering the fact that Moose and I both played with Tom Brady, right? Tom thinks Moose is soft. Tom thinks Moose is weak, right? He said it himself. I was just like, ‘Tom, I wouldn’t say that. That’s my guy. I work with him.’ He’s like, ‘Nah, Moose is soft, man. I don’t really bang with Moose like that.’ I was like, ‘That’s crazy, Tom that you bring that up?’ It’s crazy that Tom Brady watches AMC, 9 p.m. on Thursdays every week to watch me and Moose, his former teammates. It’s insane.”
