On the July 23rd episode of WrestleVotes on Fightful Select, it was stated that Rhea Ripley’s injury forced WWE to make changes to several creative plans.
Ripley is sidelined with a meniscus injury, and as a result, an Interim WWE Women’s Champion is going to be crowned in a Ladder match at SummerSlam. One of the participants in the match is Women’s United States Champion Tiffany Stratton. WrestleVotes learned that she was originally going to defend her title at SummerSlam in her home state of Minnesota.
