Ex-UFC Fighter Anthony Smith Arrested For Terroristic Threats, False Imprisonment & Domestic Violence

Former UFC fighter Anthony Smith was arrested in the state of Nebraska. He was taken in on three felony charges.

TMZ noted that the 38-year-old is facing charges for terroristic threats, false imprisonment (first degree), and domestic violence causing serious bodily injury. There are no specific details about what happened in the lead-up to the arrest.

As of this writing, Smith has not seen a judge, and a bond has not been set. MMA Fighting confirmed that Smith remains in custody at the Sarpy County Jail.

Smith last fought in April 2026 for Jorge Masvidal’s Gamebred Bareknuckle MMA 9 and scored a win over Chase Sherman via submission.
