WWE SmackDown (7/31/2026).

• Kevin Owens and CM Punk to appear
• Chelsea Green to appear
• Charlotte Flair vs. Jade Cargill
• Randy Orton to appear

First Hour.

• WWE kicked off the show with a graphic paying tribute to Dory Funk Jr. after his tragic passing.
• Cody Rhodes called out Randy Orton; however, he was interrupted by CM Punk. After being asked, Punk said he did not know about Randy Orton. Rhodes told Punk they had unfinished business, to which Punk responded with “Say when.”
• After that, Kevin Owens appeared. Owens & Punk had an off-mic argument before Nick Aldis appeared to try and calm things down. Owens spoke about his absence, noting that during it, Punk was proving him right, and that Punk had NEVER bought into the idea that he was a new person, starting with looking past him. Owens said Punk was still the same sociopath he had known from the past.
• Punk said he understood if people did not like his arrogance, but he had the title to prove it. Punk said if anyone should understand his arrogance it was Owens. Owens said it had been 10 years since he had been World Champion, and said humbling Punk for it would make the moment much better. Punk said Owens would be a weekend warrior in the indies if it weren’t for him; however, Owens also said he learned what not to do, adding that Punk must be lonely on the pedestal he was on. Owens then said this business has taught him how not to be a piece of shit like Punk.
• WWE United States Championship Match: Baron Corbin (c) def. Trick Williams to retain the title.
• Sami Zayn confronted Nick Aldis backstage before Kevin Owens appeared. Owens & Zayn had a heated argument.
• Carmelo Hayes attacked Baron Corbin. Hayes then told Corbin they will go at it next week for the United States Title.
• Chelsea Green had her championship celebration with Tiffany Stratton, but they were interrupted by Fatal Influence. This led to a match for the WWE Women’s Tag Titles.

Second Hour.

• WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship Match: Fatal Influence (Fallon Henley & Lainey Reid) (c) def. Chelsea Green & Tiffany Stratton to retain the titles.
  • Irresistible Forces (Nia Jax & Lash Legend) laid out Stratton & Green after the match.
• Wepa Up & Viking Raiders argued backstage, with R-Truth saying they will take down Raiders & MFT at the same time next week.
• Randy Orton appeared for a promo. Before he even spoke, Cody Rhodes interrupted Orton and chased him down. Orton said he gave Rhodes exactly what he wanted, the best version of The Legend Killer. Orton realized that the best Version of Orton would bring Title Number 15, but the worst version would. Orton vowed to make sure Rhodes NEVER holds the WWE Title. Rhodes said he would show the worst version of himself and that he would be the one to kill Orton.
• Sami Zayn vented to Candice LeRae & Johnny Gargano about his situation before CM Punk interrupted. Punk asked if Zayn was a coward for not saying it to his face. Zayn revealed he had a broken hand, but Punk responded by saying Gargano needed to get to the back of the line.
• Nikki Bella said she did everything she could to fight alongside her sister, and blamed Paige for Brie Bella being sidelined. Nikki vowed to make the remainder of Paige’s career pure misery.
• Shinsuke Nakamura called out MFT, and he said he will not be alone.
• Charlotte Flair vs. Jade Cargill
