Finn Balor Thinks Max Holloway Would Do Well In WWE If He Were To Cross Over

Finn Balor speaks on Max Holloway potentially transitioning to the world of professional wrestling and having the gift of gab.

Over the years, several pro wrestlers and mixed martial artists have crossed over into each other’s sports, with names such as Ken Shamrock, Brock Lesnar and Ronda Rousey proving to be the stand out stars who have competed in high levels in both sports.

While speaking to Nina Drama in a new interview from Zuffa Boxing’s recent event in Ireland, Finn Balor would discuss what UFC fighters could get in the pro wrestling ring and be successful.

“Good question, well… The UFC… I’m not entirely sure. I think Max (Holloway) might do well. He’s got the gift of the gab. Yeah, and he seems to, you know, he seems to. Conor (McGregor) certainly has the gift of the gab. That’s the one thing..”

Balor was also asked about talent potentially going the other direction, noting that talent such as Chad Gable and Baron Corbin could potentially do well in the world of MMA.

“Well, Brock Lesnar certainly held his own very, very well. He’s a (UFC) Heavyweight Champion, and another person who’s current Intercontinental Champion, Chad Gable. who’s a former Olympian, so he has that wrestling background. I think he could probably translate that into the cage. Shinsuke Nakamura has a lot of real fights under his belt, so I’m sure he’d be able to compete. A lot of the guys do jiu-jitsu. Baron Corbin does jiu-jitsu. He’s one of our heavier guys. I think he’d probably do well in the cage, too.”
