Yota Tsuji vs. Hirooki Goto For IWGP Heavyweight Title, Global Title Match, Jeff Cobb In Action, More Set For NJPW Destruction In Kobe

Hirooki Goto is looking to reclaim the IWGP Heavyweight Title.

New Japan Pro-Wrestling’s 2026 Road to Destruction tour will conclude on September 27th with Destruction in Kobe.

That show is going to be headlined by Hirooki Goto challenging Yota Tsuji for the IWGP Heavyweight Championship. The winner of that bout will go on to defend against G1 Climax 36 winner Ryohei Oiwa at King of Pro-Wrestling on October 12th.

Jeff Cobb is back in New Japan, and he’ll be in action on 9/27 as he is facing his former stablemate in United Empire, Callum Newman.
