Weaponized Steel Cage Match, AAA World Cruiserweight Title Bout, Singles Match With Heatwave Implications Set For 8/25 WWE NXT

A Weaponized Steel Cage match is on the bill.

The August 25th edition of WWE NXT on The CW is the final slate of NXT programming before the Heatwave Premium Live Event on August 30th.

One of the matches scheduled for the show is E.K. Prosper challenging Rey Fenix for the AAA World Cruiserweight Championship. Prosper earned the opportunity by emerging victorious from a Fatal 4-Way featuring La Parka, Romeo Moreno, and Tristan Angels.

Also set for the show is a singles match between Kali Armstrong and NXT Women’s North American Champion ZARIA. If Armstrong wins, she’ll be added to the title unification match at Heatwave. As of this writing, ZARIA is putting her Women’s North American Title up for grabs against Wren Sinclair’s WWE Women’s Speed Title. The winner will walk away with both belts.
