Tama Tonga: I Got So Much Love For Solo Sikoa, I Want Him To Show That He Can Stand On His Own

Tama Tonga comments on Solo Sikoa’s segment on this week’s WWE Raw.

On the 8/17 WWE Raw, Jey Uso was supposed to deliver Solo Sikoa to Roman Reigns. The segment ended with Sikoa attacking Reigns instead of joining The Bloodline.

Speaking on Busted Open, Tama Tonga was asked to share his thoughts on this.

“I got so much love for Solo. I was happy to see that. I want Solo to show that he can stand on his own. I think this was a glimpse of him showing, being defiant, that he can stand on his own. You know to be honest, just him going back into The Bloodline, I think to myself, ‘Is that a step back or is this a step for him forward?’ I’m trying to figure out what is. To see him make that stance that just being him, I’ve said that to him, ‘Hey man, I think people really need to see you, really see you.’ I think this is a nice big glimpse of who he is because he is very charismatic. There is a side of him that I see outside of the ring that nobody sees. If the people can just get a glimpse of that, I think they could really appreciate him, his diversity and his character. That just takes into him making a stance. You want to root for him. You want to get behind him. Shoot, I want to get behind him and just have him stand on his own. But which way he goes is all up to him and how he makes that.”

Solo Sikoa is scheduled to appear on the August 24 edition of Monday Night Raw. Fans can view the current lineup by clicking here.
