Zoey Serrano discusses her brief time in TNA before signing with WWE, noting that she had a contract offer from both companies at the same time.

Back in 2020 and late 2019, Serrano would compete in several appearances for TNA, including on iMPACT! and on Xplosion, competing for the IMPACT World Title against Jordynne Grace under the ring name Lacey Ryan. Later on in 2020, Zoey would have her WWE tryout, before signing with the company in January of 2021.

While speaking to Fightful Overbooked and Joel Pearl in a new interview, Zoey Serrano shared that she had a contract offer from both companies at the same time.

“Yeah, I had nothing but great experiences with them. So, in fact, I think because they had me on their platform, that’s what allowed WWE to see, and then (I) ended up getting me signed to WWE. Actually, so I had an offer from TNA at the same time WWE gave me an offer. So I was like, ooh, that’s… really excited to have both, right? So, I mean, we all know what I went with, WWE.”

Elsewhere in the same interview, Zoey spoke about asking WWE if she could compete at Chris Bey’s benefit show. You can read more about that here.
