Willow Nightingale comments on dealing with the various different injuries she has been dealing with over the past year or so.

Heading into AEW All In later today, Willow is coming into her AEW Women’s World Title defense against Mercedes Mone with a broken hand, following missing action earlier this year for a shoulder injury. Nightingale has now addressed the back to back injuries.

While speaking to SP3 with Sports Illustrated’s The Takedown, Willow Nightingale spoke about the injuries and having to learn to adapt.

“You know, what’s crazy is, I’m not like an old lady, but I am older than I was when I started. As time naturally makes things happen. I started when I was about 20. I’m 32 now, and I remember people being like, once you hit 30, that’s when the aches and pains start. That’s when things start hurting, and that did happen, and I’ve had like small injuries kind of start creeping in, and I’ve had to transform with that and kind of learn to adapt. But ultimately, it hasn’t kept me back. It’s not going to keep me back. I won’t let it. Yeah, so we’re just gonna do what we always do, which is put that smile on our face, keep our head down, work hard, and do it for what’s in our heart, you know?”

Elsewhere in a recent interview with Fightful, Willow spoke about advice she would give to Mercedes Mone ahead of their All In bout. You can read more about that here.
