Tony Khan comments on the possibility of AEW coming to Italy.
AEW has done numerous international shows over the past few years. Their most recent pay-per-view, AEW All In, took place at Wembley Stadium in London. They also recently announced Grand Slam France for October 6. There are many other markets fans want AEW to tap into.
During the post-show media scrum for AEW All In, Tony Khan was asked about AEW potentially coming to Italy in the future.
“Being able to go to different territories, different places and build off it is something we really want to do but I also want to make sure that we have a best chance to succeed there. So that is definitely a good market that we could potentially hit. Again, we have had great TV partnerships at times there so it’s something to think about.”
