Maya World: Fans Are Watching Me Evolve In Real Time
Maya World is evolving in real time.
Despite being just 24 years old, Maya World is already a full-time television performer with multiple pay-per-view appearances and a major title reign under her belt.
Speaking with Fightful’s Shirleigh, World talked about the biggest learning curve that she has faced over the last year.
“Just be ready for everything. I wasn’t in the company last year. The opportunity came in November and from there, me and Hyan had our first pay-per-view in April and it’s just been going up and up. It’s just the way I’ve performed, I guess. Tony saw it and took a chance on me. I love that.”
Continuing on, Maya World said that fans are watching her evolve and gain confidence in real time.
“I’m learning that more and more. I’m like, ‘I should’ve done this on my entrance. I should’ve done this or done more.’ People also don’t realize that I’m only four years in and only three of those have been actually wrestling. I’m trying to evolve as I go. Whenever you get thrown to the wolves, I feel like I floated well. You’ll probably notice on TV every week that I’m gonna be more confident or coming with new things or evolving. You’re watching me evolve in real time.”
