The Gunns Respond To Road Dogg’s Claim That The AEW Tag Team Titles Are Beneath Them

Road Dogg caused a stir on social media last month when he said that the AEW Tag Team Titles, and every other tag team, were below The Gunns (Austin Gunn & Colten Gunn).

Dogg said that Tony Khan was sleeping on the former champions and sons of Billy Gunn.

The comment by Dogg kicked up the argument that dominated the day, but the Gunns didn’t really weigh in.

Until now.

Asked about the controversy by Conrad Thompson on What Happened When, Colten said he was staying out of it, while Austin replied, “I’ll say, I was happy to see that he believes in our work. I don’t know if it should’ve escalated into what it escalated into, but I don’t like that we were wrapped into it. ‘Hey, what’s everybody talking about?’ ‘YOU THINK YOU’RE ABOVE!’ ‘Whoa.’ I didn’t say nothing. We’re just over here trying to go to practice, get haircuts, and make sure our gear is really nice. Then we catch strays out of nowhere.”

Road Dogg has caused a number of stirs on social media in the last month.
