Shun Skywalker Def. Konosuke Takeshita To Become NJPW World TV Champion At Destruction In Kobe

Shun Skywalker is the new champion.

The first title match of the night at New Japan Pro-Wrestling’s Destruction in Kobe show was Konosuke Takeshita defending the NJPW World Television Championship against Shun Skywalker.

Takeshita had been champion since February 2026. This match was his sixth title defense.

As the bout was ongoing, HOUSE OF TORTURE’s Ren Narita and Dick Togo showed up to assist Skywalker. They distracted the referee, and Skywalker threw powder in Takeshita’s face.

After some more involvement from H.O.T., Skywalker went on to defeat Takeshita to become the new World Television Champion.

The entirety of HOUSE OF TORTURE came down to the ring to jump Takeshita. Making the save was Toru Yano.
