Scott D’Amore Says Adam Copeland Is Lifting Up Wrestling As A Whole By Competing For MLP

Scott D’Amore has high praise for Adam Copeland.
MLP will return to the former Maple Leaf Gardens on October 3 for their annual Northern Rising event. The show will be headlined by a bout between Adam Copeland and Steve Maclin.
Speaking with The Game Plan, Scott D’Amore said that Copeland is lifting up the entire wrestling industry by taking part in this show.
“Adam Copeland coming back here and being part of this event, it’s him not just reaching down and lifting up one individual wrestler. The gravity, the importance, just the all reaching effect of Adam Copeland being part of MLP and headlining Northern Rising lifts up the entire company, the entire Canadian wrestling industry, and wrestling as a whole. Stuff like that is what leads to being able to develop the next generation. There’s going to be kids in that crowd on October 3 at Northern Rising, under that same ceiling, in that same building where Adam sat in 1986 when he went there and saw a show headlined by, was it Junkyard Dog and Tito Santana against Jesse Ventura and somebody? That’s when Adam knew, this is what I’m gonna do. There’s gonna be kids out there on October 3rd in that very same building and they’re going to fall in love with wrestling and they’re going to decide that’s what they want to do. That’s what’s going to keep this business propelling forward for years to come.”
