On this past Monday’s edition of WWE RAW, Roman Reigns and Knight would come face to face in a final face off before their World Title match at Money In The Bank later today. The pair would go back and forth, with Knight labeling reigns as ‘the most manufactured industry plant in the business.’
While speaking to WDSU News in a new interview, LA Knight would discuss the line from the promo, noting that it was not a complaint.
“I’ll tell you why. So, you know, I just mentioned and I mentioned on Monday night, I said the most manufactured industry plant in the business, and again, yes, he’s backed that up where he’s actually managed to now finally stand on his own. However, there has never been a more self-made man in this business than that guy right there. I was never in the plans, but I didn’t need to be in the plans, and he makes the mistake of thinking that I’m complaining when I say that. I’m not complaining. I’m pointing out the fact that, ‘hey, he was always in the plan.’ So he went from here to here. I went from all the way down here to all the way up here. So if he thinks that he can hold a candle to me, he’ll think, oh, LA Knight’s not in my league. No, no. He’s not in my league. Because from the depths that I crawled out of to get here and look him straight in the eyes, he cannot touch me. (gestures to himself on a poster) Most self-made man in this business right there stands head and shoulders above that man, and I’m going to show everybody on Saturday and take the title off him.”
Elsewhere in the same interview, Knight noted he would be Louisiana Knight for this Premium Live Event weekend. You can read more about that here.
