Jon Moxley Video Airs During NJPW King Of Pro-Wrestling

Jon Moxley is on his way back to NJPW.

Since Shingo Takagi defeated Death Riders member Claudio Castagnoli at NJPW Destruction in Kobe, he’s been calling out the leader of the Death Riders, AEW Continental Champion Jon Moxley.

At King of Pro-Wrestling on October 12th, Takagi and Daiki Nagai scored a win over Hirooki Goto and Tatsuya Matsumoto. Takagi scored a pinfall victory over Matsumoto by hitting the ‘Death Rider’ DDT.

After the match, Takagi and Nagai began to mimic Moxley’s walk, and then the lights in Ryōgoku Sumo Hall went dark. A video message then popped up from Jon Moxley, who was flanked by Marina Shafir.

Moxley did not mention Takagi by name, but stated that he is coming back to New Japan Pro-Wrestling. Moxley is a former IWGP World Heavyweight and IWGP U.S. Heavyweight Champion.

Takagi grabbed a microphone and brought up that Moxley did not mention his name. He added that if Moxley is coming back, he needs to be in the ring with him.
