Speedball Mike Bailey reflects on reports that they and MVP did not like each other, calling it ‘the most ridiculous premise on earth.’
Last year, reports would suggest that MVP and Speedball Mike Bailey were not on the best of terms, with the two taking a comedic approach to the reports of tension between them. Upon MVP coming across Speedball in their vlogs, the pair have exchanged ‘f**k yous’ and other insults.
While speaking to The Wrestling Classic in a new interview, Speedball Mike Bailey reflected on the reports and how they and MVP would react to the reports in recorded interactions.
“It started with a story that we both saw online and we’re both like, the fuck is this? Then, you know, decided, it’s the most ridiculous premise on earth, right? These two pro wrestlers who are battling in the ring, we literally, Kevin and I had a match with them at All In for the AEW world tag team championships, and he was like, ‘Oh, I’m hearing rumors that these two don’t like each other,’ and it’s like, what do you make of that? But again, the story had just gotten a lot of traction because there are some circles online who, who revel in that kind of stuff and we’re like, well we should address it. We should do something about it, and the first video came out and it was perfect, it was exactly what it needed to be. It caught on and we still greet each other by saying fuck you.”
Following AEW WrestleDream this past weekend, Speedball spoke about ‘seriously doubting themselves.’ You can read more about that here.
