El Grande Americano Receives Assist From Rey Mysterio To Retain AAA Mega Title At Héroes Inmortales 2026

El Grande Americano holds onto the gold.

Closing out week one of Lucha Libre AAA’s Héroes Inmortales show was Dominik Mysterio challenging El Grande Americano for the AAA Mega Championship.

During the ring introductions, El Ojo member Dorian Roldán hit Americano with a chair in an attempt to get Dominik a quick victory.

Later in the bout, fellow El Ojo member Omos showed up to help Dominik. Omos got into an altercation at ringside with Pimpinela Escarlata. Omos ended up pulling Escarlata over the barricade. He also stopped the referee from making a three-count for Americano.

Coming out to the ring was AAA General Manager Rey Mysterio, and he put a chair to the back of Omos. Dominik tried to take the chair from his father, but Rey hit Dominik with it as well. Americano capitalized on that and retained his championship.
