On the 2026 Jericho Cruise, AEW Collision would take place on November 7th. Amongst the matches that took place on the show was a National Championship match between Ciampa and Andrade El Idolo in a rematch from their bout at AEW WrestleDream. On this occasion, Ciampa would capture the National Championship, marking his second title victory in the company.
While speaking in a digital exclusive following his victory, Tommaso Ciampa would react to the win, declaring that the National Title’s new name is ‘Rubie.’
“10 months in AEW, and I’m rewriting the damn playbook. You can call me the history maker. My debut here, first man ever to win a singles title in his first ever match at the company. Now, I am the first man in the history of professional wrestling to win a title on television on a damn cruise ship. Tommaso Ciampa, 10 months, TNT champion, National champion. I said it from day one. I’m the new belt collector and I’m taking every damn title until I take the world title. But this one right here, this one right here is special, and she tells me her name is Rubie. Say hello to Rubie. Isn’t she lovely? Isn’t she lovely?”
