Ryan Garcia Stops Conor Benn In Round Two

It didn’t take long for Ryan Garcia to put away Conor Benn at Zuffa Boxing on September 12.

Garcia stopped Benn in the second round, unloading a series of rights with Benn against the ropes, forcing the referee to jump in and stop things.

Prior to the referee stoppage, Garcia dropped Benn with a right hand. Benn got to his feet, but couldn’t manage to find his wits as Garcia continued to land with success before the stoppage.

There was no feeling out process in the fight as Garcia found a home with his left hook throughout the first round, with Benn looking to find his range.

Ryan Garcia moves to 26-2 in his pro boxing career. Benn falls to 25-2 with the loss.

Rey Mysterio, sporting a neck brace following AAA Triplemania, was in Garcia corner, walking out with him for the fight.
