Elimination Chamber News: Last Spot Filled, Seven Man Elimination Chamber, First Entrant Revealed

The Elimination Chamber will now have seven men competing in it.

On Raw, Rollins came out to the ring to ask Kurt Angle for the spot in the Elimination Chamber. Rollins said he wanted his Wrestlemania moment. Angle inserted Rollins into the main event making it a fatal five-way. The main event was intended to determine the sixth wrestler in the Elimination Chamber. At the end of the fatal five-way, both Finn Balor and Rollins pinned Bray Wyatt. The show went off without a resolution. The following excerpt from the Fightful live coverage describes the end of the main event.

Balor goes to the top rope and Rollins meets him up there, Rollins misses a phoenix splash and Hardy nails Wyatt with a Twist Of Fate. Balor breaks up the Hardy pin with a Cupe De Grace, Rollins catches Balor with a Fade To Black for a near fall. Rollins and Crews have a striking exchange in the middle of the ring, Crews hits Rollins with a Samoan drop followed by a standing moonsault for a near fall. Crews goes for his finisher and Rollins escapes to eat an enzaguri, Crews then hits Rollins with a standing shooting star press for a near fall. Crews goes to the top rope and Hardy follows him up there, Wyatt grabs Hardy to nail him with Sister Abigail on the arena floor. Wyatt then goes to the top rope and he battles Crews, Balor and Rollins also go to the top rope and a tower of doom takes place. Rollins and Balor both score the pin on a downed Wyatt. - Raw then goes off the air with massive confusion taking place.

After Raw, Kurt Angle declared the Elimination Chamber will now have seven contestants. The Elimination Chamber match will feature Seth Rollins, Finn Balor, John Cena, The Miz, Braun Strowman, Elias, and Roman Reigns. The winner will face Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania 34 for the WWE Universal Championship.

Also on Raw, it was determined that The Miz will be the first entrant into the Elimination Chamber. The start of Raw featured John Cena saying he needed to win Elimination Chamber in order to have a "road to Wrestlemania." The Miz interrupted and called Cena delusional for wanting to headline Wrestlemania in 2018. Cena challenged The Miz to a match with the stipulation that the loser would enter Elimination Chamber first. The Miz accepted and general manager Kurt Angle came out to make the match official.

Fightful Wrestling will be providing live coverage and a recapping podcast for WWE Elimination Chamber. Also after Raw, Fightful had a review podcast with Sean Ross Sapp and Alex Pawlowski.
