Jeremy Borash Discusses Final Deletion Input, Hardys vs. GFW

Jeremy Borash has been a TNA/GFW/Impact employee since the beginning, but his part in the Final Deletion gained him newfound fame in wrestling.

Borash's match teaming with Abyss, taking on Scott Steiner and Josh Mathews at Slammiversary saw a return to the format. On a conference call this week, Borash discussed the legal issues between the Hardys and GFW, as well as how much input he had on the segments.

“The day to day was primarily myself and Matt. as far as the IT goes, that’s out of my jurisdiction. Impact Wrestling’s paid my salary to create and help create that stuff And obviously, that’s for someone else to decide I guess if that’s where it’s going," said Borash said.

Borash's aforementioned match at Slammiversary saw many of the same elements incorporated. The longtime announcer discussed the experience.

"I loved working with such creative guys. That’s the kind of thing, whether it’s those guys or getting to work with Steiner, getting to work with Joseph Park, you get to work with guys who are really creative and things start to happen and you gel. Nothing is better in a good brainstorming idea over a couple of beers after a show. That’s usually when most of it gets done," said Borash.
