Kevin Owens currently has a broken thumb but will continue to maintain his regular wrestling schedule.
Prior to facing Shinsuke Nakamura in the main event of Smackdown last night, Owens sent out a tweet with his hand in a partial cast.
Owens, the current WWE United States Champion, even dubbed the injured digit with a moniker: "The Thumb of America." Owens has been calling himself "The Face of America" since first winning the U.S. Title back at WrestleMania 33 in April.
Owens lost to Nakamura last night in a non-title match, which also was billed as the "first time ever" the two had wrestled. To be fair, Owens and Nakamura also have crossed paths when Owens was a mainstay in Ring Of Honor, and Nakamura was headlining for New Japan Pro Wrestling.
