Manny Pacquiao Not Watching McGregor vs. Mayweather

Manny Pacquiao is preparing to face Jeff Horn, a fight that is going to air live on ESPN this coming Saturday Night.

While millions of fans are expected to watch the upcoming super fight between UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather, don't expect Manny Pacquiao among them.

“McGregor has no chance in this fight,” Pacquiao said to Yahoo. “In fact, it could be very boring. … There is no way he will be able to land a meaningful punch on Floyd. How could he? He has no professional experience in boxing.”

Pacquiao himself fought Mayweather a few years back, but came up short and suffered a decision loss to the undefeated fighter.

While Pacquiao isn’t going to be watching McGregor vs. Mayweather, there is going to be a fight he is checking out and that takes place just a few weeks later.

“The real fight and the best fight is Golovkin vs. Canelo,” Pacquiao said. “The best vs. the best. That’s the fight I will be watching.”

Conor McGregor versus Floyd Mayweather takes place on Saturday, August 26 from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, with a post-show podcast to follow.
