UFC veteran Tim Hague passed away due to complications from injuries suffered in a boxing match over the weekend in Canada.
Adam Braidwood, the fighter who battled Hague in the boxing match that caused the injuries, has issued a statement of his own on the situation.
The undefeated boxer did so via a video posted on Twitter:
Rip brother you will live in my heart forever. I will fight for us both now, I know that's what you would have wanted. pic.twitter.com/H682h6rwJu— Adam Braidwood (@BraidwoodBoxing) June 19, 2017
During his five fight run in the UFC, the now deceased Hague earned a record of 1-4-0.
Since the fighters untimely passing, the city of Edmonton has launched an independent investigation of the whole situation.
