Alex Volkanovski vs. Diego Lopes 2 To Headline UFC 325

Alex Volkanovski and Diego Lopes will run it back at UFC 325.

The UFC announced that Volkanovski will defend his UFC Featherweight Championship against Diego Lopes at UFC 325 on January 31st. The event will emenate from Sydney, Australia.

Volkanovski defeated Lopes by unanimous decision to win the vacant featherweight title at UFC 314 in April 2025. Lopes bounced back with a TKO victory over Jean Silva at UFC Fight Night in September.

This will be Volkanovski’s first title defense. Prior to his victory over Lopes, Volkanovski suffered back-to-back KO losses to Islam Makhachev and Ilia Topuria.
