Jimi Manuwa was left without an opponent at UFC Fight Night Sao Paulo after Glover Teixeira pulled out of their bout due to injury.
Anthony Smith, who is already scheduled to headline UFC Fight Night Moncton against Volkan Oezdemir, has offered his services and is willing to fight Manuwa in Brazil.
Smith made his plans known through Twitter:

This offer by Smith to fight at the event drew the ire of Oezdemir, who would also vent his feelings about the situation via Twitter:

There has been no comment by the UFC at this time as to who will get the opportunity to fight Manuwa this September in Brazil, while the UFC Fight Night Moncton main event between Smith and Oezdemir is still on at this time.
UFC Fight Night Sao Paulo takes place on Saturday, September 22 from the Ibirapueroa Gymnasium in Sao Paulo, Brazil with Jimi Manuwa and an opponent to be named headlining. UFC Fight Night Moncton takes place on Saturday, October 27 from the Moncton Events Centre in Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada with Volkan Oezdemir and Anthony Smith headlining.
