Austin Hubbard Undergoes Procedure After UFC Fight Night Vancouver

Austin Hubbard competed on the preliminary card of UFC Fight Night Vancouver, defeating Kyle Prepolec by unanimous decision.

After the victory, a victorious Hubbard noticed the swelling in his leg was more than normal and was eventually taken to the hospital. The swelling was deemed too severe and a procedure was done at the hospital to relieve the pain, which was caused by the aforementioned swelling.

Hubbard commented on the matter via Instagram:

 

There is no word yet on when Hubbard will return to action, but more should be known as the fighter recovers from the procedure. Hubbard had expressed interest after the bout to compete at UFC Fight Night Washington DC this December, but that may also be off the table at this point in time.
