A little more than two weeks before their interim WBA light heavyweight title fight, Badou Jack and Marcus Browne talk to the media and give their thoughts on their matchup.
In a recent media conference call that Fightful took part in, the two contenders in a deep 175-pound division touch upon a number of topics, including Adonis Stevenson, potential fights against Dmitry Bivol and there's even a cameo from Mayweather Promotions CEO Leonard Ellerbe talking about a future fight between Bivol and Jack.
Below are highlights of the conference call courtesy from Fightful lead boxing reporter Carlos Toro:
The fight between Jack and Browne is set to take place on January 19 in Las Vegas. The bout is scheduled to be the co-main event for the Showtime pay-per-view card headlined by Manny Pacquiao vs. Adrien Broner for the WBA "Regular" welterweight title. Two other title fights are also set to take place on the pay-per-view card: Rau'Shee Warren vs. Nordine Oubaali for the vacant WBC bantamweight title and Jhack Tepora vs. Hugo Ruiz for the interim WBA featherweight title.
