A bantamweight division attraction is a late addition to the UFC 213 card as Rob Font is going to be in action against Douglas Silva De Andrade.
Font (13-2-0) has won three of four fights under the UFC banner, with those three wins coming over George Roop, Joey Gomez and Matt Schnell. Font is also a longtime veteran of the CES MMA promotion, having won all six of the bouts he competed in with the promotion. Font has only seen one of his four fights in the UFC go the distance, which was a loss to John Lineker at UFC 198.
De Andrade (24-1-0-1NC) will enter this fight on the strength of a two fight winning streak, having defeated Cody Gibson and Enrique Briones. De Andrade will also be making his UFC pay-per-view card debut in this fight, the fighter has been with the promotion for over three years now. De Andrade is also going to be making his North American MMA debut in this fight, as the majority of his fights before this took place in his home country of Brazil.
UFC 213 takes place on Saturday, July 8 from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada with Amanda Nunes and Valentina Shevchenko headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, with a post-show podcast to follow.
